3-Day Maasai Mara Migration Safari from Mombasa Town

Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights
Focus: Witnessing the Great Migration (July–October), Big Five, and stunning landscapes of Masai Mara.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Mombasa – Nairobi – Masai Mara

• Early morning flight or overnight train + transfer from Mombasa to Nairobi (based on preference).
• Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and depart by 4×4 safari vehicle to Masai Mara (approx. 5–6 hrs by road or 1 hr by connecting flight).
• Arrive in time for lunch at a mid-range or luxury lodge/tented camp.
• Afternoon game drive to begin your migration experience.
• Dinner and overnight in Masai Mara.

Day 2: Full Day – Masai Mara Migration Safari

• After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with packed lunch.
• Drive to the Mara River to witness the wildebeest crossing (seasonal).
• Spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and possibly crocodiles hunting at the riverbanks.
• Optional: Visit a Maasai village (extra cost).
• Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Mombasa

• Early morning game drive (optional).
• Breakfast, then depart to Nairobi (by road or flight).
• Catch evening flight or SGR train back to Mombasa.
• Arrive in Mombasa at night and drop-off at your hotel.

• Return domestic flights/train from Mombasa to Nairobi
• All road transfers
• 2 nights accommodation (full board)
