Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Begin your 5-day adventure with a pickup and briefing by your guide
- Scenic drive through local towns and roadside markets
- Stop at the Equator crossing for photos and a break
- Lunch en route
- Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the late afternoon
- Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge near Bwindi
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
- Early breakfast, then transfer to park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking
- Gorilla family assigned based on fitness, interest, and age — request preferences early
- Trek into the dense forest with a guide (trek can last 30 minutes to several hours)
- Learn about the forest’s flora and fauna along the way
- Spend 1 hour observing and photographing a mountain gorilla family
- Return to HQ to receive your trekking certificate
- Dinner and overnight at your lodge
Day 3: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Morning breakfast followed by a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Leisurely travel day with great landscape views
- All meals included
- Overnight stay at a lodge near the park
Day 4: Game Drive in Ishasha Sector (Queen Elizabeth NP)
- Explore the Ishasha region, known for its tree-climbing lions

Tour Overview
This 5-day adventure combines gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with a wildlife safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Ishasha sector, home to the famous tree-climbing lions. Spend two nights in Bwindi for a close encounter with mountain gorillas, and two nights in Ishasha to enjoy game drives and wild scenery.
